Not oily doesn’t make my skin breakout!

COSRX AHA BHA Vitamin C Booster SerumThe main ingredient in this serum is Kiwi Fruit Extract which I never thought was anything special until I started reading about the benefits. It does a lot for your skin and is an excellent source of antioxidants including vitamin C and several polyphenols. The antioxidants in kiwi can help defend the skin from the visible effects of airborne pollutants. Kiwi fruit is also a good source of the carotenoid antioxidant lutein. I really think I need to add this fruit to my diet as well.This serum is like thick water and it glides on easily without stinging or drying my skin out. I have super dry skin that is also very sensitive and this works well when applied at night along with a good occlusive cream. This caused no irritation but I did make sure to put on a good layer of sunscreen in the morning. I noticed an immediate brightening and I really think it helps with keeping my skin hydrated which helps plump up fine lines. It is super gentle and this would be an excellent way to start using a serum with vitamin C niacinamide along with the exfoliating factors of AHA and BHA. I really like the COSRX blemish patches. They are the best in the market in my opinion. So I was looking forward to trying this serum. And it didn’t disappoint.The serum is designed to even skin tone minimize wrinkles etc and it’s packed with goodies to achieve that goal. The liquid disperses vis a dropper and just a few drops is all you need to cover the face.The ingredients list is not in the product description but I found them on the website. I ran the list through a cosmetics checker and was pleased to see only 1 ingredient was considered to be comedogenic and 0 fungal acne causing. So that is great news.The product priced affordably and the bottle should last awhile. Wow! This COSRX vitamin C booster serum is one of the best vitamin C serums that I have used. (And I have used at least a dozen different companies.) My face is very sensitive and I have allergies. This serum does not give me any problems at all! When you take it out of the dropper is completely clear and it is slightly slimy – so it sticks well to your face. It has a faint citrus scent and when you put it on your face it does not burn or sting like some vitamin C serums. So it is gentle too. The best ways to describe it is that feels so pure and clean on my face. My face does not feel sticky after use. It absorbs well and seems to hydrate my face too. The only issue which I noticed on the back is that it says people with allergies to aspirin may react poorly to this because it contains betaine salicylate.I have used many products by COSRX before and this serum only exemplifies their quality products.

My partner has been using this serum 3x a week (at night) for 3 weeks now. He has extremely oily skin. We both love the Cosrx brand. I personally just use the BHA because my skin is so sensitive but his skin can handle a BHA and AHA.This serum has helped even his skin tone clear up his pores and definitely reduce some of the oil. He has used it after washing with La Roche Posay Toleraine Cleanser and follows up with the Cosrx Snail Mucin to hydrate with something lightweight. This is a basic routine he can stick to and is have a lot of success with. This does a good job with oil reduction for him something the BHA blackhead serum does not.He recommends this product to people with oily skin that can handle all the actives packed into this little serum.If wearing during the day make sure to follow up with sunscreen. Always do a patch test with any new cosmetic product and work your way up with actives – you don’t necessarily need a lot or to use them every day. Listen to your skin.
